The Company
Our customer is a multinational IT consultancy firm (MICROSOFT Solutions Partner). Currently they are establishing an IT Hub in Valencia to provide support to their international corporate clients.

They will hire the selected candidate as an internal and permanent employee

Description of the position

We’re looking for several 2nd level support Engineers for its global operations in Valencia. They will be responsible for 2nd level support specialized on Microsoft Workplace solutions.

Working Experience
@ Min 4 years of proven experience in 2nd level workplace support or a similar role.
@ Very good knowledge of Windows 11, Microsoft 365, and End-User Support services.

Soft skills
@ Strong quality and service orientation, structured and independent working style.
@ Enjoyment of customer contact, professional appearance, and quick comprehension.
@ Team player with motivation to work in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
@ Handling and resolving 2nd-level tickets in the Workplace Services domain (Windows 11, Microsoft 365,
Teams, Exchange Online, IE/Edge, End-User Support).
@ Prompt, accurate, and customer-oriented processing of ServiceNow tickets, including careful documentation of solutions.
@ Creating and maintaining documentation for the 1st-level support team.
@ Close collaboration with other support units to ensure smooth IT operations.
@ The majority of support activities will be conducted in English.

Languages
@ Spanish: At least B2-C1.
@ English: At least B2-C1.
@ German is a strong plus, but not required.

Job location
Valencia area. European Union citizen: otherwise, a valid job permit is mandatory.
Salary
A very competitive salary package.
Working from home
3-4 days a week after initial onboarding period (but according to the specific needs that may arise from the perspective of project development, department, clients, and/or partners).

Professional experience in SAP Consulting, with a focus on SAP logistics module SD (incl. Customizing and OTC (order to cash).

Project Management experience very valuable.

Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Support-oriented SAP ERP ECC functional consultant, able to investigate complex incidents, understand business processes and operate autonomously within a highly customized SAP ECC environment with multiple integrations. The focus is not on implementing new processes or migrating to S/4HANA, but on supporting existing processes and occasionally participating in improvement projects.
• Collaboration with other IT and specialist departments as well as external partners to ensure smooth integration of SAP solutions into the existing system landscape.
• Expected activity split:

70-80% support: tickets, incidents, application management (AMS), corrective and evolutive

maintenance, 2nd level support

20-30% projects and improvements

Soft Skills:

Strong understanding of business processes as well as a structured and solution-oriented way of working.

You like to work in a team-oriented manner.

Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken). Spanish skills highly recommended. German skills valuable, but not required.

You have a high degree of initiative and want to actively shape change.

Education and Certifications:

Completed studies in (business) informatics, business administration or a comparable qualification with a focus on IT.

English: C1 equivalent, no certification needed

Working Experience:

Genuine prior experience working as a consultant in SAP ERP ECC, at least 2-3 years

Professional skills:

Mandatory skills:

• SAP SD (Sales & Distribution) — the single most important requirement of the search; covers 60-70% of managed incidents
• Desirable experience within SD: Order Management, Pricing, Outputs, Billing, integration with external systems
• Knowledge of end-to-end Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes: Sales Order → Delivery → Billing → Financial Integration
• Comfortable with SAP transactions, tables, customizing, incident analysis, process traceability, functional investigation
• Basic debugging and technical analysis
• Prior experience in SAP functional support, application management or AMS

Job Conditions:

Job location: Madrid. European Union nationality otherwise EU/Spain work permit required as a prerequisite.

Expected travel: Very limited, just a few days trip per year, only during the weekdays, to the global headquarters in Hamburg (Germany) for teaming and alignment.

Employment Type: Permanent Full Time, as internal employee.

Salary: Depending on qualification and experience.

Buscamos un desarrollador JAVA de sistemas que implemente módulos que actúen sobre APACHE, OpenLDAP, Microsoft DCE-RPC… entre otras tareas de programación compleja, formando parte de nuestro equipo de Desarrollo de Producto.

Experiencia profesional
@ Más de 8 años en desarrollo de backend JAVA (17+) usando frameworks como Jakarta EE + ZK, Maven…
@ Experiencia en desarrollo de scripts de automatización mediante JavaScript, Python…
@ Experiencia en Administración de Sistemas Linux y Windows, BBDD relacionales, directorios LDAP.
@ Uso y Programación de Servicios Web (SCIM, REST, SOAP…).
@ Participación en proyectos de desarrollo complejos.
