Ponente:  Martín Hernández-Palacios (Empresario, profesor y amante de la historia de España)

Objetivo de la Conferencia:

Este año se cumple el quinto centenario del nacimiento de Álvaro de Bazán y Guzmán, marqués de Santa Cruz.

Nacido en Granada en 1526, siempre a las órdenes de Felipe II, Álvaro de Bazán participó en toda la política naval del siglo XVI y es considerado uno de los marinos más ilustres de la historia de España.

Impulsor de nuevas estrategias navales y de la incorporación de la sanidad a la milicia, fue un militar extraordinario y un gran amante de las artes. Fue el primero de la historia en comandar un desembarco de infantería de marina.

Participó en infinidad de batallas, en la rebelión de los moriscos, la liberación de Malta, la conquista de Portugal, las batallas de las Azores y Lepanto, y la preparación de la empresa de Inglaterra. Constituye una figura indispensable para comprender el reinado de Felipe II.

La conferencia trata de rendir un homenaje a este gran personaje de la historia de España que no conoció la derrota.

Breve reseña curricular del ponente:

Martín es Licenciado en Derecho por la Universidad Complutense de Madrid y Diplomado en Unión Europea por la Escuela Diplomática. Amplió su formación jurídica en la Haya (Holanda) donde se diplomó en Derecho Internacional Público y Privado, posteriormente estudió Derechos Humanos en el Instituto René Cassin de Estrasburgo (Francia).

Estudió traducción e interpretación en La Rochelle y en el Instituto de Estudios franceses de Tours.

Fue fundador de la Escuela de Negocios Aliter, donde impulsó el Master “Mujer y Liderazgo”. Creó e impulsó varios premios nacionales como el de Biotecnología o el de Mujer Líder.

Con anterioridad ocupó el cargo de director académico de la Escuela de Negocios del Grupo Vivendi y ha sido profesor asociado de Historia e Instituciones de la Unión Europea en la Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Tambíen ha sido profesor en la Universidad Francisco de Vitoria, Nebrija, Saint Louis y Mississipi.

Actualmente es Director del Master “Mujer y Liderazgo” de la Cámara de Comercio e Industria de Madrid y del Master en “Biotecnología y Derecho” de ISDE. También ejerce como Director de Relaciones Institucionales en Alphabioteclegal.

Apasionado de la historia de España, Martín actualmente es Presidente del Foro de debate e intelectual Ganivet y autor de la biografía «Álvaro de Bazán, el mejor marino de Felipe II» (Editorial Rialp) y del libro «La Segunda Oportunidad».

The company: our customer (Jungheinrich) is a German multinational corporation that operates all over the world for more than 65 years and is one of the leading providers in the Logistics industry. More than 18,000 employees and around 4.000 M€ revenue.

They will hire the selected candidate as an internal and permanent employee, based in Madrid, but providing services to their global organization.

Requirements:

Completed studies in (business) informatics, business administration or a comparable qualification with a focus on IT.

Professional experience in SAP Consulting, with a focus on SAP logistics module SD (incl. Customizing and OTC (order to cash).

Project Management experience very valuable.

Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Support-oriented SAP ERP ECC functional consultant, able to investigate complex incidents, understand business processes and operate autonomously within a highly customized SAP ECC environment with multiple integrations. The focus is not on implementing new processes or migrating to S/4HANA, but on supporting existing processes and occasionally participating in improvement projects.
• Collaboration with other IT and specialist departments as well as external partners to ensure smooth integration of SAP solutions into the existing system landscape.
• Expected activity split:

Soft Skills:
